Holly Jo is a contemporary romance novelist inspired by real-life relationships and the emotional complexities of everyday life. Drawing from her experiences and observations, she writes stories that highlight the power of human connection, love, and resilience.
She made her debut with The Log House on the Right, fulfilling a long-held dream she began pursuing in February 2024. Before turning to writing, Holly Jo worked as a school nurse in her hometown in southern Minnesota.
When she isn’t writing, Holly Jo loves to travel with her husband and daughter, often finding moments of inspiration in unexpected places. Whether she’s on the road or at home with their two dogs, she’s always dreaming up her next story about the beauty and strength of love.
My Story
I was born and raised in Southern Minnesota, where my love for storytelling first began. Growing up in a family of four, I spent much of my time lost in imagination, turning dreams and daydreams into small stories that brought my creativity to life.
Today, I’m a proud member of my own family of three, and life has come full circle in many beautiful ways. After years of working in nursing and experiencing the many ups and downs that came with it, my life eventually reached a place of balance where I felt ready to pursue something I had always carried with me—writing.
That’s when I wrote my first novel. It was an emotional journey in every way. Through the process, I discovered something powerful: writing became my therapy. It gave me a space to process, create, and heal, and it’s where my passion truly took shape.
I’m continuing to set new goals and explore new ideas, with many more stories still to come. I’m so excited to share this journey (and my stories) with YOU!
